Are you looking for a unique opportunity? Istobal USA, a growing international vehicle wash equipment manufacturer, has an opening for an Installation Technician. Our installers travel throughout North America installing car wash equipment. We are searching for a mechanically inclined technician for our fast-growing company.
We are looking for a long-term, full-time travelling installation technician. Our ideal candidate has the following qualities:
Qualifications:
- Clean DMV record
- Diagnostic tools, hand tools and power tool experience
- Basic knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or construction trades
- Basic computer and data entry skills for Windows-based software programs
- Critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate problems with manufacturer reps, owners, and supervisor
- Position requires a fast learner at a quick pace
- Dedication to customer service
- Prefer experience with carwash equipment but not required; we will provide appropriate training
- Heavy lifting of large equipment and knowledge of approved lifting devices such as forklifts
- Requires walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, and twisting/turning
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry heavy items
Responsibilities & Duties
Daily clear communication with customers, dispatch, and supervisors. You will travel to car wash sites across North America to install car wash equipment:
- 80% = Installation of car wash equipment
- 20% = Diagnose and resolve issues that arise on car wash equipment
Pay & Benefits: Salary depending on experience with a 90-day review. Benefits include company-paid medical & vision insurance, vacation, sick time, and a company vehicle for service/installation calls.
