What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary After-School Program Teacher position at Isthmus Montessori Academy?
Overview of IMA:
Isthmus Montessori Academy is looking for highly qualified, dedicated, motivated, committed, and loving people to help our community. IMA(P) currently serves infants, toddlers, primary, elementary and adolescent children as well as offering before and after school programs. The ideal candidate would demonstrate dedication, energy, patience, flexibility, dependability, and a love of working with and learning alongside children. Our after school program is a continuation of our school day and allows ample outside time each day in all weather.
Position: After School teacher with potential to also be classroom support/float based off availability and current needs of the school
- Full time; M-F 9:00-5:30
- Part time; M-F 12:00-5:30, 2:30-5:30
- Requirements:
Bilingual preferred: Spanish, Chinese, French, Arabic, or Latin preferred
2 years of education experience preferred.
Must be willing to complete requirements including relevant Registry level, required Registry training, obtaining CPR certification, Shaken Baby Syndrome and Child Abuse and Neglect awareness and prevention training.
