At Isthmus Eye Care, we’ve been proudly serving the Madison area for over 50 years, and we’re looking for an Optician to join our team. Whether you’re an experienced optician or someone with a strong customer service background eager to learn, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Help patients find eyewear that fits their style, lifestyle, and vision needs
- Adjust, fit, and repair glasses with care and precision
- Educate patients on lens options and frame choices
- Work alongside a supportive team of doctors and staff in a friendly, patient-focused environment
- Contribute to the smooth flow of the office with teamwork and communication
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as an optician is a plus – but not required; we’re happy to train the right person
- A background in retail, customer service, or healthcare
- Strong communication and people skills – you enjoy helping others
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy setting
- A positive attitude and team spirit

Schedule
- Full-time with some flexibility
