We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, and ongoing support of enterprise network environments across the organization. The Network Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing network systems while working with modern networking and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software across enterprise environments.
  • Administer network and telecommunications systems in alignment with ITIL-based Change Management practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for network architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, including data centers, for system deployments, maintenance, and hardware repairs.
  • Monitor and analyze network and server performance to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
  • Implement, monitor, and support network security solutions, including firewalls and VPN technologies.
  • Administer and support the organization’s cloud-based VoIP solution.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and remediate network and security vulnerabilities.
  • Plan for network capacity, scalability, and storage requirements.
  • Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and contribute to additional projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and availability to support operational requirements.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, with a primary focus on Cisco routing and switching environments.
  • Cisco CCNA certification required; CCNP or Juniper routing/switching certification preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in switch configuration and troubleshooting, including VLANs, spanning tree, trunking, EtherChannel, and QoS.
  • In-depth experience with Cisco Catalyst platforms; Cisco Nexus experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise network services such as DNS and DHCP; Windows Server environments preferred.
  • Proficiency with network security technologies, including access control lists, IPsec VPNs, NAT/PAT, and certificate-based authentication.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Experience with network monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
  • Knowledge of RADIUS configuration for wireless access and network device authentication; Windows-based implementations preferred.
  • Experience supporting VoIP solutions (e.g., RingCentral) is a plus.
