Our client, a well-established, mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a CRM Applications & Data Analytics Manager (Salesforce) to support and evolve its Salesforce ecosystem while helping drive data-informed decision making across teams and business functions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Partner cross-functionally across departments to understand challenges, gather requirements, and align technology solutions with business goals and operational needs.
- Translate technical plans into business value, demonstrating how Salesforce features and data insights improve retention, revenue, forecasting, and cost efficiency.
- Serve as a hands-on leader of the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, & NPSP), supporting system administration, enhancements, integrations, platform optimization.
- Evaluate and optimize business systems, analytics tools, and application environments while identifying opportunities for automation, enhancement, replacement, or integration.
- Build and enhance dashboards, reporting, and KPI visibility to support data-driven decision making, forecasting, operational performance, and business insights.
- Lead and prioritize technology initiatives, system enhancements, and application-related projects while managing timelines and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Research, recommend, and support implementation of new technologies and platform enhancements aligned with business needs and long-term strategy.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-related tools, automation, and governance opportunities to improve operational effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership across analysts, system administrators, and stakeholders while supporting system reliability, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- 6 years of experience within CRM, business systems, or applications environments, including 2 years of direct people leadership/management experience
- Hands-on experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, NPSP, and/or Service Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce administration, reporting, integrations, and platform optimization
- Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau; exposure to Azure cloud environments and workflow/process automation tools preferred
- Experience partnering with vendors/consultants and working cross-functionally across technical and business teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Hands-on, self-motivated technologist comfortable driving continuous improvement and solving complex system challenges
