Seasonal Support Associate – University Mail Center
Position Type: Seasonal/Temporary (August – October/November)
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday–Friday)

Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Seasonal Support Associates to join our University Mail Center team during our busiest time of the year. This role is responsible for supporting daily mail operations by receiving, sorting, organizing, and distributing mail and packages for students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare mail for delivery to campus departments and student mailboxes.
- Scan and log packages using mail tracking software.
- Assist with package pickup and provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure mail is handled accurately and securely.
- Assist with outbound mail processing and shipping as needed.
- Follow all university and company policies regarding mail handling, confidentiality, and safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous mailroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain standing or walking for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
