The Opportunity:
This is a part-time role with IST Management Services, performing Mail Services-related work at a local University in Providence. Hours will range from M-F 7:00 AM- 5:00 PM, and Saturdays 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Site location will be in the Providence, RI area.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals who are looking to expand their computer/software knowledge, hone their customer service skills, and have the potential to advance within an organization that has 18 locations and over 110 positions in the Providence/Boston area.
This is also a great opportunity for someone who only wants to work 10-30 hours per week, in a nice environment.
During peak periods at the location, there are opportunities to work more hours, if the candidates are interested.
Hourly Compensation: $17.00- $18.50 USD
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mailroom services- scanning/sorting/delivery of mail and packages on campus to appropriate client personnel - primarily, University Students
- Learn package locker loading work-flows, and learn that entire process.
- Training as necessary
- Adhere to all safety procedures
- Tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills & computer and Internet savvy
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to prioritize and multitask as well as willingness to cross-train for other job functions
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift 50lbs
