Duties
- Safely operate Class A commercial tractor / dump trucks, adhering strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT standards.
- Drive routes efficiently during night shifts, utilizing GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries and pickups across designated areas.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before and after each shift.
- Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling, and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or violations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and route adjustments.
Experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, dump trucks
- Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving during night shifts is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads when necessary.
Must be 23 years of age or older, able to lift 50lbs, 2 years A-CDL driver experience required, clean MVR. Employees may perform other duties not listed. Candidates should be prepared for work that requires punctuality, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards throughout their routes.
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
