Position: Project Manager, Intermediate
JOB SUMMARY:
The HTM Project Manager plans and delivers healthcare technology projects, including medical device deployments, capital equipment replacements, renovations, and integrations within clinical environments. This role partners with HTM, IT, facilities, clinical teams, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements. The HTM Project Manager leads cross functional teams, manages risks and changes, and ensures clear communication throughout the project lifecycle while promoting standardized project management best practices.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans, coordinates, and delivers healthcare technology projects, including medical device implementations, capital equipment replacements, renovations, and system integrations.
- Assembles and leads cross-functional project teams, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and project governance.
- Defines and manages project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, risks dependencies and deliverableOus throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensures compliance with patient safety standards, regulatory requirements, and HTM and organizational policies.
- Develops and maintains detailed project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts using standardized project management methodologies.
- Tracks project status, risks, issues, and changes; communicates progress and variances to stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitates effective project communication, including meetings, agendas, minutes, status reports, and issue escalation.
- Manages scope, schedule, and cost changes through formal change control processes.
- Partners with HTM, IT, facilities, clinical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Supports vendor management activities, including coordination, contract support, invoice review, and issue resolution.
- Promotes continuous improvement and adoption of project management best practices across HTM initiatives.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of managing people, processes or projects
