Key Purpose
The Critical Manager will provide regional leadership, management and support to the Critical Environment Operations. Prioritizing Health & Safety, OPTIMA Critical governance and Risk Controls, to achieve 100% uptime and compliance within assigned portfolio.
Provide tactical oversight for the delivery of all technical operations in relation to critical environments within the assigned portfolio. Ensuring that all governance requirements and programs are implemented and upheld to the highest standards, providing Subject Matter Expertise in relation to the supporting governance frameworks.
To develop and maintain strong working relationships with the operational team, key clients and the wider ISS community. Promote a positive culture and attitude of right first time and ZERO Downtime
To deliver a best in class Critical Environment Operation, by driving Clarity, Consistency, Compliance & Transparency through the deliverables to clients and colleagues.

Health and Safety
- Ensuring Safe Systems of Work processes and procedures are at the forefront of our delivery and upheld to the highest standards.
- Be appointed as a Senior Authorized Person (SAP) or Authorizing Engineer (AE)
- Support on-going adherence to health and safety standards in accordance with local Health and account requirements.

- Review and approval of Critical Environment Operating Procedures
- Chair Weekly Technical Review board calls / meetings
- Provide SME support to the incident management process
- ISS engineering risk control requirements are being met and for the controls to successfully pass operational effectiveness testing and audit
- Ensure the completion of tasks that will assist Barclays engineering risk controls aligned to ISS risk controls successfully passing operational effectiveness testing and audit.
- Minimum 5 Year managing Mission Critical Environments
- Qualified in an engineering discipline
