iSpring Water Systems is expanding into Spain with a sustainable water solution for the hospitality industry.
Our model—equipment leasing combined with customized glass bottles and on-site refill systems—is designed to replace traditional bottled water and align with EU plastic reduction initiatives.
We are seeking a hands-on Country Manager / Business Lead to build and lead our Spain business from the ground up. This is a 0 to 1 opportunity to shape strategy, establish operations, and drive growth in a new market.
Market Development & Sales
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Spain
- Focus on restaurants, hotels, and chain accounts within the Horeca sector
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and account management
Operations & Supply Chain Setup
- Establish local logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks
- Optimize cost structure, efficiency, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with headquarters on company registration, tax setup, and regulatory compliance
Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit and manage a local team including sales, operations, and logistics personnel
- Build standard operating procedures and performance frameworks
- Train and scale the team as the business grows
Market Intelligence & Localization
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Adapt business strategy based on customer feedback
- Drive brand awareness and expand market presence
- 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in Spain
- Experience in Horeca, FMCG, beverage, or logistics industries preferred
- Strong negotiation, execution, and business development skills
- Ability to operate in a startup or 0 to 1 environment
- Native-level Spanish and fluent English required
- Mandarin or Catalan is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building a business from the ground up
- Existing network in restaurants, distributors, or logistics channels
- Familiarity with Spanish environmental policies, food safety regulations, and labor laws
- Base salary: €45,000 – €60,000 (gross)
- Uncapped performance-based commission
- Business expenses covered, including travel and client meetings
- Long-term growth opportunity with potential for equity or partner role
- Lead the Spain market expansion from the ground up
- Work on a sustainability-focused solution aligned with EU initiatives
- Direct reporting line to the CEO
- Opportunity to grow into a regional leadership or partner position
