iSpine Clinics is a growing pain management practice that provides compassionate, personalized, and coordinated care to patients. Our mission is to improve our patients’ quality of life by providing minimally invasive and maximally effective treatments for chronic pain conditions.
We are excited to be offering a full-time, 40 hours/week, Clinical Assistant/Medical Scribe position. This position is scheduled Monday - Friday with a rotating schedule between 7:30 am- 4:00 pm, 8:00-4:30PM based on provider scheduling. This position will travel between our multiple clinic locations within the Twin Cities North Metro locations: Coon Rapids and Maple Grove/Delano. There will be no weekends or holidays.
The Clinical Assistant/Medical Scribe must represent the clinic in a positive and professional manner. Must have good customer service and communication skills, be organized and detail oriented. We are looking for an individual who can multi-task, communicate across departments, and work in a fast paced environment. The Clinical Assistant is an integral part of the team, assisting providers and nursing staff to increase efficiency and productivity.

The Clinical Assistant will:
-Work with physicians and mid-levels to accurately document patient information in the EMR system
-Ensure billing and coding requirements are followed and billing information is entered into the progress note
-Assist providers with order entry
-Schedule patient follow-up appointments
-Prescriptions: prepare for provider approval
-Follow MIPS protocol and ensure all measures are documented accurately
They may also assist with:
-Rooming clinic patients
-Taking vitals
-Stock and clean exam rooms
-Scan medical records into the patient chart
-Assist with gathering information prior to the patient appointments
-Any other duties assigned by management
