This role is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while aligning with corporate strategy and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and executive leadership
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff, contractors, and vendors
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity policies
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units
- Track and report on project performance, including KPIs, timelines, and financials
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of IT project management experience, preferably in the energy or oil & gas industry
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
- Familiarity with upstream oil and gas systems and operations
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise IT architecture
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
