Senior .Net Application Developer / Tech Lead (Logistics Applications)

Location: Torrance
Schedule: Hybrid 4 days/week onsite and 1 day/week remote (subject to change based on organizational policies)
Contract Duration: June 2026 March 31, 2027, with strong possibility of extension
Additional Schedule Expectations: Must be available for occasional 7:00 AM PST team calls and periodic off-hours/weekend support during key development and implementation activities.

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior .NET Application Developer / Tech Lead to support a major automotive enterprise environment focused on mission-critical logistics and yard management applications.

This role is ideal for a senior technical professional who thrives in large-scale enterprise environments and enjoys designing, developing, and supporting high-volume, performance-intensive applications. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and enhancing critical logistics and automotive sales applications while contributing to ongoing modernization initiatives across the technology stack.

This is not a purely managerial or architectural role. The ideal candidate must be a strong hands-on developer and technical leader who can actively contribute code, design scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support large-scale enterprise web and database applications supporting logistics and automotive operations.
• Develop highly scalable, high-availability, high-transaction enterprise applications and microservices within the Microsoft technology stack.
• Serve as a senior technical expert for application architecture, systems integration, compatibility, and platform interoperability.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, architects, and development teams to define technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, architecture, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Develop standalone applications, APIs, and microservices using modern .NET technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Identify technical risks proactively and recommend scalable, long-term solutions.
• Support ongoing modernization initiatives focused on automation, DevOps, AI enablement, and digital communication technologies.
• Maintain and support multiple projects, priorities, and application support activities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Follow established configuration management and change control processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers while contributing technical leadership across the team.
• Provide regular updates regarding development progress, deliverables, and technical status.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 10 15 years of progressive experience in Microsoft technology stack development with deep hands-on design and development expertise.
• Must be a senior-level hands-on developer and technical lead with recent experience actively developing enterprise applications.
• Advanced expertise in:

• SQL Server
• Microservices architecture
• REST APIs
• Docker
• Azure technologies
• Office 365 technologies
• Microsoft development frameworks, SDKs, and libraries
• Strong experience designing and developing scalable enterprise web and database applications.
• Proven experience building and supporting high-traffic, high-volume, high-availability, mission-critical applications in large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience developing web applications and microservices within enterprise ecosystems.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or newer), including:
• T-SQL
• query optimization
• stored procedures
• performance tuning
• data analysis
• reporting
• Experience supporting large user bases and performance-intensive enterprise applications.
• Prior experience within logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, transportation, or related operational environments is strongly preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, deployment pipelines, and modern development methodologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies and enterprise initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and project contributions.
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing technical leadership within collaborative teams.
• Strong focus on delivering practical, scalable, and efficient technical solutions to complex business problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Blazor is preferred but not required.
• Experience with enterprise modernization initiatives involving automation and AI-related technologies is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting logistics-focused enterprise applications in Fortune 1000 environments is highly desirable.

Additional Notes

• This role requires a long-term onsite commitment in Torrance. Candidates should be comfortable with a 4-day/week onsite schedule.
• Candidates must be able to clearly articulate their recent hands-on development experience, technical contributions, and project impact during the interview process.
• Relocation candidates may be considered if highly motivated and willing to relocate at their own expense.
