Job Title: Seasonal Part-Time Summer Camp Counselor (NEED TO BE AVAILABLE THRU 8/25)
Location: ISP Event Center at Randolph, NJ
Type: Seasonal Part-Time
Position Overview: We’re looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and fun-loving individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors! As a counselor, you’ll lead and supervise campers through a wide range of activities including games, arts & crafts, and sports. Your energy, creativity, and leadership will help create unforgettable summer experiences for campers ages [4–14].
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
- Lead and participate in daily camp activities, including structured programs and free play.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting teamwork, inclusion, and respect.
- Communicate effectively with fellow counselors, camp staff, and campers.
- Help manage camper behavior in a fair and consistent manner.
- Assist with set-up, clean-up, and maintenance of camp areas and equipment.
- Attend orientation and all required staff meetings and training sessions.
- Provide basic first aid when necessary and report incidents to the camp director.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least [16-18 ] years old.
- Experience working with children in a group setting preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be physically active for extended periods.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Must pass background check (if 18 ).
