A Day in the Life of the Jr. Data Analyst
In this role, you’ll support case administration efforts by collecting, preparing, and analyzing data that drives key decisions in class action settlement management. You’ll be hands-on with data ingestion and transformation, help maintain clean and accurate datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity throughout the settlement lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Read, interpret, and understand settlement agreements to ensure data handling aligns with case requirements.
- Ingest, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using Alteryx or similar tools.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized datasets to support case administration.
- Complete data tasks and reports within deadlines set by Case Managers and project timelines.
- Identify data anomalies and ensure integrity through validation and quality checks.
- Collaborate with Case Managers, IT, and other teams to support project milestones.
- Document processes, data mappings, and methodologies thoroughly.
- Work proactively to streamline and improve data workflows.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience analyzing and cleaning datasets
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, visualization)
- Experience reading and interpreting legal documents (e.g., settlement agreements)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
