In this role, the consultant collaborates closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into effective Atlassian-based solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting workshops and discovery sessions, configuring and testing solutions, preparing documentation, and supporting user training and adoption. The Functional Consultant also works with technical teams to ensure that system configurations and integrations align with business needs and best practices. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring solution performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering, including process mapping and stakeholder collaboration.
- Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles, enterprise workflows, and best practices for service delivery.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (such as Jira, Confluence, and Service Management) and their configuration for business use cases.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to lead client meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs in partnership with technical teams.
- Experience with change management, user adoption, and post-implementation support in an enterprise environment.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative team setting and managing multiple client engagements or projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior consulting experience or work with Fortune 1000 or public sector organizations is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications in Atlassian tools, ITIL, or project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum) are a plus.
