Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day Production, Maintenance, and Environmental Operations of the IsoNova Verona Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages Production and Maintenance Operations to ensure manufacture of product within established standards of quality, safety, sanitation, Federal and State laws.
- Manages Environmental operations within established standards of quality, safety, sanitation, and Federal and State laws. Regulatory compliance includes Storm Water, Air, Waste Water, Tier II, Form R, FDA, USDA, APHIS, and HACCP.
- Develops and implements methods to improve productivity within established payroll and expense budgets.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Trains and develops Production and Maintenance Associates.
- Ensures all Preventative Maintenance Programs are up to date and maintained.
- Ensures that established policy, procedures, and work rules are understood and followed.
- Follows all Safety Procedures and uses required personal protective equipment.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in spray drying of egg liquid. Prefer experience in cooking and drying poultry and other meat.
- Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of accomplishment through others.
- Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals, blueprints, etc.
- Able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
- Must have the ability to learn all functions and processes of the facility.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to follow directions and give directions.
- Successful in creating, promoting, and maintaining safety programs/systems.
- Supportive of IsoNova Company objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent work record with good leadership ability.
- Respected by peers, subordinates, and Upper Management.
