Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a Vice President of Information Technology department at our Chandler, AZ facility.


The Vice President of Information Technology is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and operational management of Isola Group’s global information technology organization. This role ensures that the IT capabilities and cost structure align with the business strategy.


This role will lead technology across manufacturing, R&D, and global business operations ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable technology platforms. This leadership position will oversee enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, analytics, and IT governance across global operations in North America, Europe, and Asia.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Leadership

  • Ensures coordination between IT and Isola’s Senior Leadership Team and establishes departmental goals and objectives aligned to Isola’s strategic and financial plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute 3-year enterprise technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the Executive Leadership team on technology investments and innovation.

Infrastructure & IT Operations

  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems.
  • Manage IT service delivery using best practices such as ITIL and DevOps.
  • Lead global network & infrastructure modernization, enabling Isola employees to easily work anytime from anywhere.

Enterprise Applications & Digital Workplace

  • Own the strategy and performance of enterprise business systems, including ERP platforms, CRM, PLM, & MES.
  • Drive digital innovation in manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide software asset management and licensing compliance programs, ensuring adherence to vendor agreements and regulatory requirements while optimizing license utilization and mitigating risk.

Global Team Leadership

  • Develop, mentor, and lead a global IT organization, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, managed service providers, and technology suppliers.
  • Develop succession plans and elevate IT talent capabilities where required to support company objectives.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Manage enterprise cybersecurity across global operations, including identity management, network security, data protection, monitoring capabilities, and incident response.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity & risk management policies and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards required to meet customer requirements such as ISO, NIST, and GDPR.

Financial Stewardship & Vendor Management

  • Develop and manage multi-year capital and operating technology investment plans aligned to business priorities.
  • Optimize global sourcing strategies and vendor partnerships.
  • Negotiate and manage key technology contracts to drive cost effectiveness and performance accountability.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide IT transformation in a global manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Technical expertise in applications, infrastructure, network design and administration, and security.
  • Proven experience assessing and rationalizing IT cost structures, identifying inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and reallocating spending toward higher-value automation and digital initiatives.
  • Experience modernizing & transforming applications, infrastructure, networks, and enterprise cybersecurity programs
  • Experience managing global, distributed teams and driving accountability across regions.
  • Foundational knowledge and experience with information and personal privacy policy and compliance issues as well as working knowledge of security frameworks – including navigating international requirements (GDPR, BDSG, NIST, etc.).

  • Credible experience with the ability to achieve goals through influence, collaboration, and cooperation across various IT and business teams.

  • Clear 3-year technology roadmap defined, aligned, and actively executed.
  • Defined IT operating model with formal governance, service standards, and performance metrics.

  • Clearly defined organizational structure with succession plans for key roles.
