Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through the treatment process with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Explain treatment options clearly, ensuring patients understand procedures, benefits, and expectations
- Coordinate appointments, follow-up visits, and necessary diagnostic tests efficiently
- Assist with insurance verifications, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements to streamline patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using medical office software
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all patient needs are met promptly and effectively
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to patients, encouraging adherence to treatment plans and fostering positive relationships
- Strong skills in sales
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling, insurance processing, and record keeping
- Effective communication skills to clearly convey information to patients and team members
