What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Assistant position at iSmile Orthodontics?
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented orthodontic assistant to join our young, advanced, 100% digital practice. Our office motto is to provide high quality of care with great attention to detail and patient satisfaction.
The ideal candidate:
1) is capable of working in a fast-paced environment;
2) is independent thinker and is highly dependable;
3) is able to multi-task when needed;
4) preferably has experience as an orthodontic assistant for at least one year.
A typical week would provides employees between 32-36 work hours. We are in our Redmond office (Downtown Redmond) on Mondays & Tuesdays and in the Seattle office (near University Village) on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Job duties include, but are not limited to chairside assisting (banding/bonding braces, changing wires, removing brackets, bonding retainers), taking clinical records (photographs, x-rays, iTero digital scanning), Lab work (aligner and retainer fabrication) and sterilization. Some light front-office and/or marketing work is possible too, if interested.
