The Isle of Wight County Sheriff's Office is currently taking applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff. Position is open until filled at the Isle of Wight County Sheriff's Office.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must be of good character, at least 21 years of age, possess a High School Diploma and a valid Virginia driver's license. Candidates must have no felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude. Ideal candidates will possess prior law enforcement experience and/or college level course work in Criminal Justice or a related field. Selected individuals will be required to undergo an oral interview and a comprehensive background investigation.
Salary : $54,073 - $75,229
