Job Summary:
The Off Premise Manager is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across Islands Restaurants’ off premise business, including third-party delivery marketplaces, native online ordering, catering, and takeout. This role leads cross-functional initiatives spanning strategy, analytics, partner management, and operational execution to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience across all digital and off premise channels.
This position requires a highly collaborative and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively balance strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Off Premise Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and profitability across all off premise channels including DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, catering, and native ordering platforms
• Support long-term off premise roadmap development, including platform optimization, new channel opportunities, and operational enhancements
• Identify opportunities to improve guest acquisition, retention, frequency, and average check through pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies
• Partner with Marketing to develop and execute off premise campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
• Support growth and operational execution of catering initiatives, including platform partnerships, menu optimization, and restaurant adoption
• Evaluate emerging marketplace trends, technologies, and digital guest behaviors to inform future strategy
Marketplace & Partner Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party delivery and catering partners
• Manage day-to-day relationships with delivery marketplace account teams and external vendors
• Monitor marketplace performance including rankings, visibility, promotions, menu accuracy, and operational metrics
• Coordinate testing and rollout of new platform features, integrations, and programs
• Conduct regular audits of menus, pricing, imagery, modifiers, hours, and brand standards across all platforms
Operational Excellence
• Partner with Restaurant Operations and IT teams to optimize the end-to-end off premise guest experience from ordering through fulfillment and handoff
• Identify and resolve operational friction points related to order accuracy, packaging, fulfillment timing, cancellations, refunds, and guest satisfaction
• Support restaurant teams through issue resolution, communication, and process improvements related to off premise execution
Analytics & Performance Management
• Own reporting and analysis for key off premise KPIs including sales, profitability, order accuracy, fulfillment times, cancellations, guest ratings, refunds, and marketplace performance
• Monitor and optimize channel profitability, including commission structures, promotional spend, menu pricing, and operational costs
• Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and operational improvement
• Build and maintain performance reporting for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Evaluate pricing, promotional, and merchandising initiatives through testing and performance analysis to optimize ROI and guest engagement
• Present actionable recommendations grounded in data and business insights

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, eCommerce, or related field preferred
· 4–6 years of experience in digital commerce, off premise, restaurant operations, delivery marketplaces, or related fields
· Experience working with third-party delivery platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub required
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
· Experience managing digital menus, promotions, pricing, and marketplace merchandising preferred
· Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and operational mindset
· Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
