What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Assistant position at Islandental?
We are a family practice located on beautiful Bainbridge Island. We are an office that puts our patients and staff first and are looking for a team player that thrives off a fun and positive environment and loves our patients as much as we do!
Your schedule will be 4x10 hour shifts.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Board RDA Licensure required; active RDA license
- At least 6 months of Dental Assisting experience
- Ability to make temporary provisionals, pack retraction cord, and capture accurate impressions
- Maintain annual OSHA, WISHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law
- Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPPA privacy rules
- Must have high ethical standards and value patient care above all else
- Must love to work amongst a team of other highly skilled and motivated dental professionals
- Must be a service-oriented, team-player that maintains a positive attitude
- Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Experience:
- At least 6 months experience preferred
License/Certification:
- Washington Department of Health Dental Assisting license (Required)

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
