Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards before serving.
- Assist servers in providing excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Operate the POS system for order tracking and communication with kitchen staff.
- Support culinary team members as needed, including assisting with food handling and preparation tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy trays or food items as required.
