What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Processor position at Island Title & Escrow Agency, Inc.?
As a Title Processor, you'll manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing by:
- Opening new files and reviewing contracts
- Ordering and reviewing title searches, payoffs, surveys, HOA/condo information, and municipal lien searches
- Clearing title requirements and coordinating with lenders, REALTORS®, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and vendors
- Preparing files for closing and ensuring all requirements are satisfied
- Communicating regularly with all parties to provide timely updates
- Monitoring contract deadlines and keeping files on schedule
- Assisting with problem-solving to keep transactions moving forward
- Following company procedures for wire fraud prevention, identity verification, and secure communication
- Maintaining accurate files and documentation
- Supporting the closing team wherever needed to create an exceptional client experience
