Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and sales transactions processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and resolve any concerns promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
