What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at ISLAND SUSHI AND GRILL?
Island Sushi And Grill in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one server to join our strong team. We are located on 9400 S Eastern Ave #103. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. Must have all Cards ready and available - Health / Tam.
Looking for servers for our sister restaurant Hiroba Sushi located near Horizon and Eastern Ave. This is NOT for Island Sushi and Grill.
Must have flexible schedule and be available to work afternoons, nights, most holidays, & weekends. Mandatory Availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests as they arrive and leave
- Presenting the menu and helping guests select food & beverages
- Having full menu knowledge to answer questions on ingredients, allergies, and presentation
- Delivering food to tables
- Delivering a great customer experience
Qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service demeanor
- ServSafe Certified preferred
- Experience as a Server or Waiter/Waitress - 2 Years
- Knowledge of Sushi, Japanese, and/or Hawaiian cuisine preferred
