Outside Sales Representative

Outside Sales Representative - OTE – $125K-$150K ($60-$70K base commission)

North Miami Area

Company is a leading distributor of industrial products. We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Outside Sales Representative to prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support and grow existing clients using consultative sales approach with strong technical aptitude to develop solutions in collaboration with cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFQs, bids, proposals, pricing, product availability, and customer follow-up from initial inquiry through order completion
• Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business within assigned territory
• Service existing clients by evaluating needs and proposing effective solutions
• Serve as knowledgeable resource for company's products, manufacturers, and industries served
• Travel as needed to meet with customers, develop markets, attend industry events, and support business development activities
• Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
• Work proficiently with company's CRM and ERP systems to input, track and manage orders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, industrial, or related degree is preferred
• 2 years' experience in engineering, industrial, technical, or consultative sales with strong track record of success
• Fluent bilingual English/Spanish skills required, including professional verbal and written communication
• Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to understand technical products and translate customer requirements into appropriate product solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
