Sales Associate

Island Snow Hawaii is looking for applicants to join our vibrant store team at our both our 130 and 600 Kailua Rd. locations! Members will gain retail, food service, and customer service experience in a positive, fast-paced environment. Members will work with streetwear brands such as Carhartt WIP and Awake NY. Associates are expected stay up-to-date with our product offering and maintain our store’s visual appearance with the utmost care. The duties of every team member are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. Associates enjoy discount benefits at all Island Snow locations as well as the Stussy Honolulu flagship. Summary

As a Sales Associate, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your core skills in retail sales, cash handling, and basic math will enable you to effectively manage transactions and assist customers with their needs. With premium skills in merchandising and product demonstrations, you will help showcase our offerings and drive sales. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be essential in fostering a welcoming environment and ensuring customer satisfaction in our grocery store setting. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Promote and sell retail products and financial services, including banking-related offerings such as loans or account management
• Process transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering techniques, including cash management and retail math skills
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies to provide informed recommendations
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, product displays, and accurate record-keeping using financial software
• Assist with loan processing or financial transactions when applicable, ensuring compliance with company procedures

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is highly preferred
• Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances ability to explain products clearly
• Basic math skills, including retail math and 10 key typing proficiency, are essential for accurate transaction processing
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling responsibilities confidently and securely
• Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and work collaboratively within a team
• Experience with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required
• A proactive attitude with the motivation to learn about new products and sales techniques

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
