Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Caretaker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care for animals in a sanctuary environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong compassion for animals andust be reliable to come to work on time and when scheduled. As an Animal Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our dogs, as well as giving them love and care.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, and reporting any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal enclosures, equipment, and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for both animals and staff.
Skills
-Must love dogs!
-Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
-Experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is a bonus.
- Familiarity animal handling is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
