Summary
As a Slot Technician at Island Resort & Casino, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of gaming machines and equipment. This role is vital to maintaining the integrity of our casino operations and enhancing guest satisfaction through reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on slot machines and gaming equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with gaming devices.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to conduct repairs efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand machine functions and wiring.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries related to gaming machines.
Qualifications
- Proven computer skills in Microsoft Windows.
- Experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the gaming industry preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical components is preferred.
- Experience with computer networking related to gaming machines is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
