Responsibilities:
- Assist the Foreman in planning, organizing, and supervising petroleum construction activities on-site.
- Coordinate and direct the work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing hazards promptly.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to relay progress updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, equipment usage, and daily work reports.
- Support training and mentoring of crew members to enhance skills and promote a productive work environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
- Travel out of town as required by project needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum or construction industry roles, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of petroleum construction processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites within the United States.
