Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Japanese language instruction for elementary students (K?5).
- Build foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Integrate Japanese culture into lessons to deepen student understanding.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment aligned with school values.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to support student learning.
- Participate in school events and meetings as appropriate.
- Bachelor?s degree in Japanese, Education, or related field
- Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Teaching credential or certification
- Experience in independent or private school settings
- Familiarity with project-based or experiential learning
