Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. You will play a key role in dishwashing, maintaining the kitchen environment, and preparation of food as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Manage the dishwashing station and ensure proper cleanliness of all cookware.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and measuring ingredients.
• Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Training is provided.
• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is useful.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards customers and quality assurance.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and evenings.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks in a busy kitchen setting.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
