We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and customers. You will play a crucial role in preventing theft, minimizing internal and external risk, and maintaining a safe environment.
Duties:
- Conduct surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools
- Identify and investigate suspicious activities or behavior
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and findings
- Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures
- Train employees on loss prevention practices
- Conduct internal audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in loss prevention or a related field
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment
- Strong conflict management skills
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies
- Certification in loss prevention or related field is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
