About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all daily operations of our maintenance and installation teams, manage office staff, and ensure projects run smoothly and profitably. This role is critical to our growth, allowing the owner to focus on business development and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee yard maintenance crews and landscape installation teams, ensuring schedules, quality, and safety standards are met
- Manage office staff workflow, payroll, and customer communications
- Monitor project budgets, materials, and timelines
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operations
- Develop and track KPIs for crews, projects, and office performance
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address client concerns efficiently
- Support hiring, training, and performance management for team members
Qualifications:
- 5 years of operations management experience in landscaping, construction, or a related service industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of Aspire Landscape Software (required)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Knowledge of scheduling, payroll systems, and basic accounting
- Familiarity with yard maintenance and landscape installation processes
- Ability to step into multiple roles and solve problems proactively
