Island East Management is seeking a reliable and experienced independent contractor to provide maintenance and repair services at condominium units and communities throughout the Westhampton area.
We are looking for a versatile, hands-on person who can handle a variety of routine maintenance and repair needs while also assisting our property management teams with projects and responding to after-hours calls as needed.
This could be an ideal opportunity for a semi-retired contractor, experienced handyman, or maintenance professional looking for flexible, ongoing work without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.
Typical Work Includes:
- General repairs and maintenance at condominium units
- Minor carpentry and trim repairs
- Door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Sheetrock repair and patching
- Painting and touch-up work
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues
- Common-area maintenance and repairs
- Property and building inspections
- Meeting and coordinating with outside contractors
- Responding to maintenance requests
- Assisting our property management teams with projects
- Responding to after-hours maintenance calls as needed
Schedule & Availability
Hours will vary depending on the season and workload. This is an ongoing opportunity with more hours typically available from spring through fall, when maintenance and property activity are at their busiest.
The flexible schedule makes this position especially well suited for someone who wants steady, ongoing work while maintaining control over their own schedule. Some availability for after-hours maintenance calls will be required.

- Previous maintenance, handyman, construction, or property management experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
