Raw Bar Hourly Manager

The Raw Bar at Island Creek Oyster Farm is our beautiful scenic patio on Duxbury Bay. Home to our oyster farm and an outdoor destination serving the oysters we grow, craft beer, great wine and a whole lot more all in a casual environment steps from the water. This is, and will continue to be, the anchor point for welcoming guests onto our farm property and introducing them to the Island Creek way of life. This position will assist the General Manager & Assistant General Manager in overseeing daily operations at The Raw Bar. This role requires high level, organizational skills, the ability to juggle a wide variety of tasks/projects, and the ability to not only be an effective manager but a team leader for the FOH team. This is a part-time summer position with the months ranging from May-October. This position offers $25-$32/hr depending on experience and performance.
Hourly Managers at The Raw Bar reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
ROLE:
- Oversee daily operations across The Raw Bar in partnership with the GM and AGM
- Be a compelling leader, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Support the team in providing great guest experiences, rain or shine, no matter the season
- Provide product education initiatives, during management shifts, on a daily basis to hourly staff
- Oversee staff, on volume shifts, planning in-times, breaks & departures for staff members
- Manage labor costs, making smart decisions daily
- Help service/kitchen team manage high volume business periods
- Field customer concerns in service and digitally, creating a dialogue when possible and further supporting guest relations and the creation of regulars
- Work collaboratively with General Manager & ICO for the global good
- Other responsibilities as assigned
