Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and maintaining water clarity.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as filters, pumps, heaters, and chlorinators.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool plumbing systems to identify leaks or malfunctions. Report any issues to general manager.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for each pool.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during chemical handling and equipment maintenance to protect yourself and others.
Skills
- Proficiency in handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and filter cleaning. Not required. Willing to train the right person.
- Ability to follow safety procedures related to chemical agents and equipment operation.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills to maintain high standards of pool quality.
- Knowledge of Pool Brain app is helpful but not required.
