What will you do?
As the Senior Regional Property Manager you will play a key role in overseeing a team of Property Managers across six locations in a geographic area, ensuring that each community meets its presentation, operational, and financial goals. In addition, the Senior Regional Property Manager is responsible for training and development of property managers. This role covers properties in Dade City, Inglis, Brooksville, Citrus River and Floral City, Florida.
The Senior Regional Property Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular community visits to ensure Community Managers are consistently maintaining and achieving Company standards for community presentation, operational performance, and financial initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with departments such as New Homes Infill, Used Homes, Sales, and CapEx to achieve community goals and support overall park performance and growth.
- Ensure that budget guidelines are followed through consistently by reviewing concerns and issues.
- Interview, select, hire and train Property Managers.
- Keep abreast of relevant issues and topics to incorporate into planning and decision making.
- Work to maximize resident retention.
- Provide updates to the VP of Property Management on all operational issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- 4 years of successful manufactured housing/multi-unit property management experience required.
- Experience in leading and coaching a team of professionals.
- Demonstratable experience in reading and interpreting financial statements.
- Working knowledge of all applicable laws including but not limited to Fair Housing laws.
- Dynamic, outgoing, customer focused team member with a service first attitude.
- Detailed oriented, organized leader who meets deadlines
- Ability to work well on a team or individually
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstratable experience with Backoffice or Rent Manager
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in property management.
