Medical Assistant – Vascular Care in Beautiful Kona, Hawai‘i

What You’ll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and colleagues through professional, courteous, and timely telephone, in-person, and written communication.
- Assist vascular specialists with exams, diagnostic testing, and in-office procedures
- Support office-based procedures, including prep, sterile setup, and recovery assistance
- Conduct patient intakes, obtain medical histories, and record vitals such as EKGs, blood pressure, and temperature
- Coordinate referrals, imaging appointments, and patient follow-ups
- Document thoroughly in our electronic health record (EHR) system
- Help maintain clinic flow and ensure rooms and instruments are stocked, cleaned, and sterilized
- Support general front- and back-office functions as needed
- Travel between clinics is required (Hilo and Kona); mileage and time are compensated
What You Bring:
- Certified Medical Assistant with current CPR certification (required)
- Previous experience in cardiology, vascular medicine, or office-based procedure labs is a preferred but not required.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, small team environment
- A dependable, proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to excellent patient care
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation for travel between sites
