What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager position at ISKAGNA?
About Us

Founded in 2021, Iskagna was created to bring a more thoughtful, responsive approach to the built environment—one rooted in trust, transparency, and teamwork. We guide public and private clients through the full project lifecycle, helping them navigate challenges, manage complexity, and achieve outcomes that last.

The Opportunity
Iskagna is at an inflection point. We’ve built a strong foundation in Charleston, and we’re now expanding across the Southeast, deepening our presence in existing sectors, and entering new ones. That growth creates real opportunity for the right candidate — not just to lead high-profile capital projects, but to help shape what Iskagna becomes.
You’ll join a firm small enough that your contributions matter, and ambitious enough that those contributions compound. You’ll help refine the standards, processes, and playbooks that the next wave of hires will inherit. You’ll work directly with senior leadership, build relationships with clients you’d otherwise meet only in passing at a larger firm, and have a clear line of sight into how the business is run — and where it’s going. For someone who wants to be more than a number on an org chart, this is a rare window.
Position Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support Project Managers and senior leadership in overseeing client capital projects from due diligence through closeout. You’ll help manage the design and permitting process, procure contractors, develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, and ensure quality assurance throughout. The role involves close, day-to-day collaboration with clients, design teams, contractors, and consultants — and offers a clear runway to grow into a Project Manager.

- Assist with coordination of all project phases, including design, permitting, scheduling, budgeting, sustainability goals, client standards, QA/QC protocols, and potential tax credit requirements.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including meeting agendas and minutes, RFIs, submittals, invoices, and change orders.
