Position Overview
ISJ Underground Utilities is seeking an experienced Finance Control Manager to establish and lead the company's Finance Controls function. This leadership position will be responsible for company-wide financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, cash flow analysis, financial reporting, project financial performance, and executive reporting across all heavy civil infrastructure projects.
The Finance Control Manager will partner with executive leadership, operations, project management, and accounting to improve profitability, strengthen financial controls, standardize reporting, and provide real-time financial visibility across all projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience may be substituted.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in construction finance, project accounting, or financial controls.
Minimum 5 years in a financial leadership or finance controls role.
Experience managing financial oversight for projects valued from $20 million to $500 million.
Proven experience managing financial reporting across multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction, municipal infrastructure, and underground utility projects.

- Partner with estimating during project turnover.
- Support Project Managers with budgeting and forecasting.
- Mentor project accountants and financial support staff.
- Improve forecasting accuracy and cash flow management.
- Ensure financial consistency across all ISJ projects.
- Identify financial risks early and recommend corrective actions.
