Required Qualifications

14 years of hands-on experience administering IBM DB2 databases in enterprise environments

Strong expertise in DB2 for z/OS (including utilities such as REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, RECOVER, LOAD, and UNLOAD)

Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Shell/Bash for DB2 operations

Demonstrated experience with DB2 LUW administration on Linux and/or AIX platforms

Proven track record of leading successful large-scale DB2/VSAM migration or upgrade projects

Proficiency in SQL tuning, EXPLAIN analysis, access path optimization, and performance diagnostics

Experience with DB2 high availability and disaster recovery solutions (HADR)

Working knowledge of JCL, REXX, and TSO/ISPF in mainframe environments

Familiarity with IBM Data Studio or any IBM Db2 Administration Tool
