Shop & Field Assistant

*Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish

Provides general support to maximize the department’s ability to operate successfully by running errands, purchasing and delivering supplies, transporting materials and assisting with a variety of tasks as needed.

Position Responsibilities

• Pick up, deliver and transport supplies, materials, tools, equipment, etc.
• Run business-related errands to vendors, customers, job sites and company locations
• Assist with stocking, organizing and distributing supplies and inventory
• Support field crews and office staff with miscellaneous tasks as assigned
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving materials
• Coordinate deliveries and communicate status updates to department
• Prepare supplies necessary for jobs
• Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable regulations
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles
• Comply with safety policies and procedures
• Provide project support when needed
• Provide additional support as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and use of Micrsoft Programs
• Forklift certification
• Strong team player
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Strong ability to work safely with equipment
