E-Team Inspector

Ensure hazardous waste regulatory compliance in cooperation with the E-Team for iSi customers.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of waste containers
• Inspect waste containers for proper labeling and regulatory compliance weekly for 300 sites
• Report any violations to appropriate personnel and correct
• Record container and shipment information into computer tracking system
• Inspect waste containers for proper labeling and regulatory compliance
• Complete all appropriate inspection paperwork electronically
• Perform spot inspections of step cans, box carts, etc.
• Inspect and fill spill response van for appropriate inventory
• Inspect SCBA suits and SCBA masks on a monthly basis
• Comply with safety policies and procedures
• Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable regulations
• Operate scooters, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely
• Operate power tools, lifts, and other equipment safely
• Provide customer service to client representatives
• Provide additional support as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High School Diploma AND 1-2 years of experience in the hazardous waste and/or environmental field Knowledge of KDHE and EPA hazardous waste regulations
• Knowledge of DOT and Hazardous Material regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to work safely with equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Strong team player
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Prior experience in the fields of warehouse, QA/Q
• Prior experience with computer programs
