Isidore Newman is searching for an assistant Upper School boys and girls cross country (XC) coach. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about coaching high school runners, knowledgeable about distance specific training, and is well versed in instructional, developmental, and motivational techniques. We are searching for an assistant coach who is philosophically aligned with the mission of the school and more specifically, a coach who is committed to building strong relationships with runners, coaches and parents. Coaches are expected to hold themselves, as well as the coaching staff and student athletes, to the high standard expected at Isidore Newman. This is a seasonal, part time position that would begin in the Summer (ideally mid-June with a flexible start date) and end after the state championship in November.
