Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer – Level 3 to support and enhance mission-critical applications within the agency. The selected Worker will deliver high-quality software engineering services, application support, and database solutions that comply with DPS standards and operational needs.
Required Experience (8 years):
- 8 years of experience with Software and database engineering for law enforcement state agency systems and application support.
- 8 years of Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of the DPS License to Carry (LTC) system.
- 8 years of Additional or deeper knowledge of the DPS License to Carry system is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions used within DPS environments.
- Provide advanced application and database engineering support for law enforcement systems.
- Work closely with DPS stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and reliability for high-availability environments.
- Support and enhance the License to Carry (LTC) system and related components.
- Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and support materials as required.
- Adhere to DPS security, compliance, and development standards.
