We provide OT, PT, ST, behavior coaching and social skills groups to infants to teenagers with a variety of needs. Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our therapy office with essential administrative tasks. This part-time role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth office operations and a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a clinic or doctor’s office and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming referrals.
- Handle insurance verifications and authorization requests.
- Assist with scheduling appointments for patients via phone and in person.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in basic computer and office software (EMR experience a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a clinic or doctor’s office.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes.
